Safeguarding
Safeguarding & Child Protection
At Ramsey Manor Lower School, the safety, welfare, and well-being of our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that all children, regardless of age, gender, ability, culture, race, or religion, have an equal right to protection from all types of harm or abuse.
Our Core Philosophy
Safeguarding is not just a policy; it is a culture. Our school provides a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where children feel secure, are encouraged to talk, and are listened to. We maintain an attitude of "it could happen here" where safeguarding is concerned.
Our Statutory Framework
We strictly adhere to the latest statutory guidance provided by the Department for Education, including:
- Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
- Working Together to Safeguard Children
- The Prevent Duty (Protecting children from radicalisation)
